At Leilani Lingerie, we specialize in petite lingerie and small cup bras. But, what exactly does petite lingerie refer to and what sizes do these small cup sizes cover?
Commonly, fashion items for petite women are made to fit a petite woman's height. The industry definition of "petite" is that of a woman who is 1m 60 (5' 4") or under. The lingerie we carry is not made to only fit women who are petite in height, but it is designed to fit women with a small bust size independent of her height.
The smallest cup sizes regular stores usually carry are A cups, but we carry smaller sizes, too. These cup sizes are called AA (smaller than A) and AAA (the smallest cupe size) and they are tailored to perfectly fit a small busted woman's frame. At Leilani Lingerie, we carry bras in sizes 70AAA-85AAA, 70AA-85AA and 70A-85A.
Cup sizes and size adjustments
It is important to know that the bra cup size is relative to the band size. This means that, for example, not all AA cups are the same size. Basically, as the band size goes up, so does the cup size. For example, a 36AA cup is larger than a 34AA cup and a 34AA cup is larger than a 32AA cup.
Bra sizes that are the same in breast volume are often referred to as "sister sizes". Sisters sizes demonstrate that if your bra size provides the correct cup volume but you want to change the band size, you will also need to change your cup size accordingly to find the right fit.
We know that finding the correct size can sometimes be difficut. Please contact us with any questions, we are happy to assist you in finding your correct size and would be delighted to help you make bra shopping a fun experience.
